As much as I love this show, I hope there’s not a third season—the poor Garveys have been through enough!

No spoilers, my thoughts: The first third of this season was better than the first season. I was intrigued and really questioning where it was all going. (I despised the Evil Husband in the first season, but he was endlessly portrayed so cartoonishly Evil that it got to be almost a parody).
This season, one of the new characters (though critically important) was so completely glossed over and barely even mentioned that I figured out the turn of events way before the sisters did. Still, I really enjoyed this series. A third season of this stuff might be fun... but c'mon... these people have been through more than enough for twelve lifetimes!

I enjoyed this season (and happily watched right to the end) but for me it didn’t have the same impact at the first season, because the novelty had worn off, I suppose. The new nemesis was satisfyingly awful though, as bad as John Paul but in a different way.
I don’t know that I really want a third season (as people said above, gosh these poor women have suffered enough!) but if there were one I would watch it simply because I love all the actors who play the Garvey sisters. They are so believable as siblings even when doing remarkably ridiculous and ill-advised things.
And I admit I laughed very hard more than once (indeed, at the scene mcstayinskool references).
And Fiona Shaw, oh my god she was fantastic as she is in everything. Veeeeeery different from her character in Killing Eve, but done with the same snap and verve. And also I learned a new Irish slang term: wagon. It’s very useful; I wish I could start incorporating it into my everyday speech without sounding like a real poser.

Maybe they could start a detective agency with Hoolihan? They've already got a medical person (Ursula) and an investigator (Una). Bibi can be the heavy, Becca the receptionist, and Eva can finance it all and sit in the big office.

If it doesn't get a third season, this really is a nice wrap-up, but I'd watch another one for sure.
