A 19th-century widow has to make an impossible choice when, during an especially cruel winter, a foreign ship sinks off the coast of her Icelandic fishing village.

Handsomely mounted, but not even a little scary, which for a horror movie is a problem.

I've heard this one described as grim, slow build stuff that tries to unsettle more than scare. That's normally my jam, so it's on my list.

Once I finally see it we can compare notes.

That says “19th century” but it could just as easily been 18th century. The movie is like that.
