Troubling questions arise after airline pilot Whip Whitaker (Denzel Washington) makes a miracle landing after a mid-air catastrophe.
I would have sworn this movie had been posted before. Denzel Washington scored another best actor nomination for his role; it also stars Bruce Greenwood, Don Cheadle, Kelly Reilly, and John Goodman. It's definitely a Robert Zemeckis film, particularly with the ending, but the plane crash sequence is fairly riveting. Apparently, the incident in the film is based on a real crash in 2000. (Also apparently, this is extremely similar to a Cliff Robertson movie from the '70s.)
