He is! And yet I forget it because he's so easy on the eyes and can seem so nice until he does another awful thing!

I like how specific Helen's behavior is, and I'm sure I'm not picking up on half the jokes. She's lived there for over twenty years but still doesn't get it -- but the jokes are more subtle than you usually find in that sort of character.

Shepherd, in his youth, lived in Northern Quebec on Cree land teaching radio courses, and said he was very familiar with the kind of white people who are in positions of authority up there: absolutely well-meaning but dismissive.

The character of Ting reminds me that no matter where you are in the world, there are always Golden Boys Who Can Do No Wrong (And Get Lots of Sympathy Casseroles).

Loved this ep too. The ending owes a bit of a debt to the movie Major League, which is kinda delightful.

I like how they show the rules.
