(Sorry, I tried to come up with something recappy for the 'extended post' box, but that box gives me a writer's block panic flail.)

I always liked the resemblance between Krumholtz & Hirsch back in their Numb3rs run together, but now it's practically uncanny. Aside from the physical resemblance, Krumholtz' 1984 Abe has all the cadence and manner of Hirsch's present-day Abe. (I mean, he had six seasons to get the impersonation nailed, but, it still delights me.)

Finally a reveal about Abigail. Interesting. I can believe that she'd leave Henry, but harder to believe that she'd abandon Abe entirely too. Also hard to believe that her disappearance wouldn't eventually warrant a police investigation that would reveal Henry as some kind of identity fraudster preying on an older woman. Only 3 episodes left of the season (series?), hope they don't go out too cliff-hanger-y with this new subplot.

I thought the nose was a prosthetic but I am too lazy to dig up pictures and check. I wondered how they were going to address the necessity of having Abe in the flashbacks.

In the 80s, it would have been a lot easier to have everything look above board. (It does make me wonder since Henry is not tech savvy who "created" Henry's current credentials? We know the hacker "fixed" his current identity, but not who created it. And is there any concern about how he will continue to have an undetected, but legitimate identity in the future?) Not to mention, if an adult woman goes missing in the early 80s in nyc and there is no sign of foul play? Good luck with that. I can easily see the police thinking "She ran off" and not bothering to do anything.
