I'd just posted in last week's thread that I agreed with another poster that the kick ass female character of the week was just a reworking of scripts already developed for Shaw. This week, Zoe was a refreshing change although she only appeared in the first half, and it was the most interesting episode since the departure of Shaw. Maybe it should've been a two-parter? Because there was a lot of scrambling at the end.

Was this guy the first number they've ever completely failed to save?

I was really nervous that they were going to replace root (she'd be killed in the showdown with Martine) with Khan. Thank god that didn't happen.

I agree. Shaw's absence has really been hurting the show for me, but this episode worked okay without her.

Aasif Mandvi did a good job, but couldn't stop thinking Hey! It's that guy from the Daily Show! throughout the episode.

Wayne Kruger and Nicholas Donnelly were failures too. I think there have been others.
