I came away from this with an overwhelming sense of "man the late 60s were fucked up." Or at least, the LA version of what that era was. Manson comes across as such a total creep; it's hard to imagine that he had power or influence over anyone.

I also had no idea that Stephen Still's song was about kids rioting over a curfew. I just always assumed it was over the big issues like the war, or civil rights.
