It's time to send the little ones to dreamland and set FanFare's dial to SPOOKY. Bolt the doors, lock your windows, and steal yourself for mysterious suspense for our first post about Beyond Belief. And, oh yes: There's more below the fold.

Starring Paul F. Tompkins and Paget Brewster as those married mediums Frank and Sadie Doyle. Also starring Craig Cackowski as Bobo Brubaker; Busy Philipps as silver screen diva Minnie Fontaine; Marc Evan Jackson as director Kieran Mazzley; Annie Savage as Honey; Mark Gagliardi as Barney; and Autumn Reeser as Something-Something Something.
Recorded March 7, 2015

A minor programming note: I'll be posting non-canonical TAH episodes as they're released, and we'll be doing a re-listen of Sparks Nevada soon, starting with TAH #2: "Inside Out in Outer Space." The sequence of the other TAH programs doesn't really matter, so I haven't quite figured out how to deal with those -- feel free to offer your opinions in the FanFare Talk thread.

If you're new to TAH, listening in order isn't particularly important for anything except for Sparks Nevada or Bucatino Business. Additionally, I wouldn't recommend starting with any of the special episodes (particularly #209-#213). The Christmas Episodes are awkwardly out of continuity with the rest of the podcast, typically having been recorded approximately one year before appearing on the podcast feed.

The thrilling adventure hour is awesome and I'm looking forward to the Sparks Nevada run, which I sort of lost track of early into in my listening run.

Beyond Belief is my favorite segment, but not much to say about this specific episode. Not bad though like many recent ones IMHO fairly by the numbers. I still love Frank's utter contempt for everyone and everything that is not Sadie, which lets him be an obnoxious cranky person and charmingly devoted to Sadie at the same time.
