Mostly words. Partially silence.

Not many thoughts, other than that this was much, much better than I was expecting. Fink/Cranor's writing style is clearly out in full force here, and it will be interesting to see if that will be tolerable for an entire book.

I also really liked Cecil Baldwin's narration, which I was also mildly worried about at first.

In short, I'm suddenly very excited for this book.

Honestly, I dunno about the book at all. I liked the beginning of this, but I'm not exactly super psyched about the pawn shop lady plot still. I just keep feeling like the book is going to feel off and flat compared to the show somehow.

Yeah, after listening to this, I'm not sure about the book. I'm curious, but I'm unsure it'll work for me.
