College GameDay: Week Four
September 26, 2015 8:45 AM - Season 29, Episode 4 - Subscribe

A slow week on the college football landscape, with only two matchups between top 25 teams (both in the Pac-12).

#9 UCLA visits #16 Arizona for the lead in the Pac-12 South. Both teams are 3-0, and this one should be an offensive slugfest, with high-profile Bruin linebacker Myles Jack out for the rest of the season and high-profile Wildcat linebacker Scooby Wright probably just barely back from a minor injury.

#13 Oregon (last year's runner-up in the first-ever College Football Playoff) is trying to get back on track after its Week 2 loss to now-#2 Michigan State by hosting #18 Utah, which is 3-0 and still looking for its first trip to the Pac-12 Championship after three straight fifth-place finishes in the South.

The rest of the top teams are mostly fighting cupcakes, with #1 and #2 Ohio State and Michigan State fighting directional Michigan schools (Western and Central, respectively) with a combined 60.5 point spread. The closest thing to a match for the rest of the top 10 is #3 Ole Miss taking on perennial SEC cellar-dweller Vanderbilt.

I was all ready to take in Florida vs Tennessee, then wasn't able to watch it. I could have watched it long after it aired, but I just opted to check out the result, and darn that was a good game.

I watched this run by Michigan's De'Veon Smith against BYU five times and I still don't know where the hell he came from out of that scrum. The next 60 yards of the run is just icing, but what icing it is.
