Angel accidentally kills a demon serving as a champion to a pregnant human woman and takes his place in a fight to the death.

Gunn joins the main cast, and the karaoke demon fortune-teller Lorne makes his first appearance. Lindey and Lilah recruit Darla to help them fight Angel. The Hyperion makes its first appearance.

Watching this through for the first time, and my overwhelming thought was "PLEASE MAKE THAT KARAOKE DEMON A RECURRING CHARACTER."
