God this episode was dull; I think the only part I really enjoyed was Snow saying "oh, the fight was real alright". Seriously, Once Upon a Time, I loved you before and I can love you again but pull your shit together and start having real character moments like you used to.

Yeah this is two boring episodes in a row; I'd say that I'm more interested in what's happening back in Storybrooke, but that's what we covered last episode and I'm not. I am interested in why Emma has Merida tied to the bumper of a car, but I doubt the show is going to cover the "why tie her to a car in the woods?" part of the question I'm really interested in.

At least this show tends to pick up the pace as the arcs conclude and with the arc being (presumably) half a season, hopefully it'll get the doldrums out of its system soon.

from the tv.com lily sparks review:

It was obvious once Guinevere saved Lancelot from the darkness that she had some extremely deep feelings because this is just not something you would do for, say, a platonic friend. Facing the darkness to save someone is a pretty good indicator that you care about them maybe even more than you care about themselves, is what I got from this scene.

i have no idea what we're doing here with that parallel. why was it the DO evil tornado? rumple was there in the forest with the dagger, how did evil tornado decouple from him, except so the show could make that parallel? fucking ouat i s2g.

regina is back next episode, maybe we can stop sleeping through this show at that time.
