It was lovely to see contemporary ballet on the show. Jacque and Chehon danced it beautifully, but I especially loved how it was staged and the camera work. The light and shadows, and the use of a single camera...just stunning. It made it feel intimate and quiet.
Jessica and Twitch's hip hop routine was a lot of fun, and probably my second favorite routine of the night, after the ballet. Jessica and Twitch had pretty great chemistry. But all in all, this was a really strong episode with great performances. The only ones that didn't work for me at all were Bridget's Bollywood number and Valerie's jazz.

This was a great episode; lots of fun routines. Loved Ricky, Zack, Tanisha, and Jacque. Valerie, whom I usually love, didn't hit it and I thought Bridget was disappointing too. Casey makes my teeth hurt - my housemate and I hated that performance but obviously, we are missing something everyone else sees and loves.

I loved Tanisha and Ryan's tango. It was really lovely to just have skilled dancing without a contrived storyline, and I also really loved her dress! Felt the same way about Jacque and Chehon's ballet piece. Though I would have loved to see Eliana doing it instead. My other two favorites were Ricky and Lauren, and Jessica and Twitch. Both goofy, but well danced with really challenging choreography.
I miss Misty Copeland, though, and once again Tyce's choreography left me sad and bored. Knock-off Sonya Tayeh does no one any favors, and if you can make Ade look awkward, you're doing something wrong.

Not a Casey fan, but I loved Kathryn in their routine, and I really like it when Spencer Liff does more sultry broadway numbers. Makenzie and Jakob dancing to Too Darn Hot was hands down my favourite routine of last year, and I loved the Come Together pool hall group number too. I just don't think Casey has the maturity or innate sexiness to sell the story.
Hoping Zack and Makenzie do broadway rather than contemporary or jazz next week. I think Zack would kill a broadway routine, with his tap background and everything.

The routines I loved were Emilio, Tanisha, Rudy, Casey, and Jessica. Everything just worked in those routines.
