Strange Club: Holiday Edition?

We have nothing in the Strange Club queue at the moment, but it makes sense to do one more movie to close out the year. For the selection, I'm seeking recommendations for strange cinema that has a holiday or Christmas element to it. Or just plain winter/snow/seasonal. The theme can be very loose. But it should be bizarre and/or cult and/or artsy. Please share your suggestions!

The Holiday Movie Club has Rare Exports on the schedule for 21 DEC, we're happy to do a crossover/share it.
Whatever you choose, would love to cover it in the HMC

Ah, nice! That's right around the time I was planning on doing this, too. Happy to crossover with HMC if you're into it. We did a crossover with Mefi Horror Club (the movie House) for Halloween that went over pretty well, so this would be welcome.

I've been wanting Strange Club to take on the awesome Japanese absurdist art comedy Survive Style 5+ for a while now. That one actually has an extended Christmas sequence. I strongly recommend it!

I believe that's been in the votes once or twice, but hasn't been chosen yet. Not a bad idea! Maybe we can do Rare Exports as a crossover, and Survive Style 5+ after that.

Strange Club: Holiday Movie Viewings. Rare Exports on Dec. 21, and Survive Style 5+ on Dec. 28. Watch one or both and get seasonally strange with us.
