Galavant: Battle of the Three Armies
February 1, 2016 5:59 AM - Season 2, Episode 9 - Subscribe
After the Jester's recap song (set to the original theme song), the armies of Valencia and Hortensia and the Undead clash. Galavant and Isabella make up, Wormwood turns the zombies, and Madalena makes her choice between evil and... slightly less evil. It all happens around Chef and Gwynne's shack, inconveniently located on the battlefield.
What can I say, I'm a completist.

I do love the fact that posting these has been a co-operative effort among all the MeFi Galvant viewers (admitting that I probably put in the least amount of work in writing up the descriptions). I just hope we get the opportunity to do so for another season. Thanks to everybody who has posted and commented.

Thank you, as well, to both of you posting. I didn't even finish watching the last two episodes until Friday and well, then, it then became Sunday.
I loved the cut to black joke at the very end and almost wished they had pulled it in the final episode near the end.
I was asking my wife, "I wonder if they're going to bring in the Cook and Daisy somehow...." AND WHAMO, there they are. Lovely.
Who knew the undead could be so unreliable?
Isabella's parents....holding their own. Fantastic. Major props for the court painter. Heh.

Wow. I didn't realize the Jester had that powerful a voice or that good a delivery. I know it's just a little thing, but I'm also really impressed with the quality of the costumes. The tooling on Madalena's in particular is absolutely gorgeous.

THE JESTER SONG WAS AMAZING
I also noticed Madalena's clothes in this one. Were they that amazing before, or is that a new thing? I plan to rewatch the whole thing anyway so I'll have to keep an eye out.

Didn't he sing the theme song for the premiere? I remember being quite impressed with that.
Here's hoping season 3 will give us a lot more of him.

Man I just found this show and it's real good. I'm not usually even a huge musical fan but dang is this show fun. The cliffhanger cut had new laughing actually out loud which is rare for a TV show. That ddew duet was pretty good as well.
