Justified: Bulletville First Watch

In the first season finale, Harlan is turned into a battlefield when the tense situation between Raylan, Arlo, Boyd and Bo Crowder finally comes to a head.

Viewers trying to keep track of the body count will be frustrated: not only are more people killed than in the entire rest of the season, but in at least one case it's not clear how many dead there even are. I'd say at least 20 (but no more than 7 by Raylan).

It was a bloodbath, but a real turning point in the series. I think Boyd Crowder pretty much owned this episode.

Ava had her gun pointed at Raylan and her finger on the trigger for an uncomfortably long time while they were crouched down in the cabin. It was making me more nervous than the "Miami gun thugs" outside with AKs.

Suitably bloody end to the season.
