Full Frontal with Samantha Bee: WHY AM I PERSECUTED?!
March 15, 2016 2:51 PM - Season 1, Episode 6 - Subscribe
Samantha Bee keeps looking at the primaries, including Hillary's Nancy Reagan Memorial speech, Rubio's retirement, and Ted Cruz' quest for likeability, all the way to college. On the second act, she looks at the second Elected Paperweight of the Month, Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin and his web series, followed by a face-to-face with Trump supporters. In the end, a hitting piece on North Korea is interrupted.
Great episode. A friend at work said of the Hillary speech "well she had to say something nice about Nancy Reagan" but NO SHE DIDN'T and she could have said many nice things without pretending the Reagans started a discussion on AIDS. I liked the way the show handled that.
It seemed like they kind of took it easy on those Trump supporters and I'm glad. They looked foolish enough without going after them. I don't understand how the logic works where "Mexico is going to pay for it!" "No they're not" "Well then it just go 10 feet higher!" makes Trump look better. She looked excited and happy that her candidate made so much sense and was being so 'real'

I heard one of them say 'neoliberal' and realized immediately where he came from .

That poor, poor, confused gay black kid. She tried so hard to get him to see how confused he is, in vain...

That kid looked to be getting a clue, or at least experiencing a lot of cognitive dissonance. Probably he'll have a change of heart later, without having to back down on camera. (Not sure I'd have wanted to see it if he did. Too painful.)
And I can't think of Matt Bevin as a "douchebag legislator that nobody cares about." He has treated his state shamefully, and deserves to be called out on it loudly and often.

Those Trump supporters aren't real, right ? RIGHT ?
I would think this was a derail, but if it appears on next week's show, will not be surprised: A Trump supporter.
(Please note the white beverage too.)
