I wonder if they're going to go further with Joan's sister as a character, or if it was intended as more of a "character moment" for Joan - this season has pretty much been "All About Sherlock's Dad", and it was good to be reminded that for all of her accomplishments Joan has not had the smoothest ride through life herself.

IMO Lucy Liu really knocked it out of the park with the acting in these two episodes, and it was nice to see Sherlock realize that sometimes the thing to do is sit and listen (even if it makes you kind of uncomfortable.)

Cocked eyebrows all over the place in this one - pretty sure at a couple of points everyone except the person they were questioning had an eyebrow raised.

The plot seemed a bit convoluted in this episode. I followed it, but ...

And yes, curious to see how long the sister sticks around.
