This is almost the documentary style episode I want, but instead, it's this weird mixing of tabloid hit job with a dressing of senior anchorman authority. The random talking heads were also a mixed success for me. Some I liked, some I found a bit over the top.
I felt bad for the crew as they watched, particularly when Rygel said, "I don't want anymore popcorn." Aw, poor Ryge.
The scene with Chiana and make up was a bit naive, and not in the way Chiana presented it. I think we'd already established that make up and what not existed in the Farscape alien universe (I swear Chiana gets a spa treatment or something), so it just played a little too hard into the "outsider commentary." I did like her commentary on sex and clothing, though.
I always felt bad for John having that weird in-between tv, not quite your LCD, but no longer a 4:3.
