The tavern is busy, and the Bandit King is here! (Live from the Steppenwolf Theater in Chicago)

I found the Bandit King to be a non-personality, and Arnie's comment during Chunt's intro — “a little podcast-friendly high-kicking” — sums up my general feelings about live episodes of narrative podcasts. A couple of good jokes aside, this one's a ‘pass’ for me.

Yeah, I don't know whether Thibodeaux wasn't familiar with the podcast or what, but it felt like the boys were really dragging him along.

I don't typically dislike the live 'casts per se (I loved the one with Rothfuss), but this one definitely suffered from show-don't-tell-itis for some reason.
