Full Frontal with Samantha Bee: We're gonna need a bigger basket
September 13, 2016 7:36 AM - Season 1, Episode 22 - Subscribe
SamBee returns from hiatus, looks at recent events from the election, Matt Lauer, the lack of fact-checking by journalists, and the face of Latinos for Trump.
God, I missed her.
WTF is the Latinos for Trump guy thinking?! Isn't that kinda like "Jews for Hitler" at this point?

Well, if he wants to run for governor, he's just putting his name out there. Cynically, it's easier to backtrack from this mess than to be another face in the Latino Democratic campaign. This way, at least he's got a few minutes on basic cable.

I had my own 'holy crap' moment when she put up the picture of Romney and Obama, and I thought how reasonable and competent Romney looked... by contrast with Trump. That's when it really sank in for me, how low the bar has gone.

To be clear, if I were a US citizen, I would never in a million years contemplate actually voting for Romney. He's just a measure of how low the bar has been set for Trump.

I was having that conversation with my girlfriend yesterday: I wouldn't vote for Romney, but I miss when Republican presidential candidates spoke in complete, coherent sentences. I knew it would eventually come to this after Sarah Palin was given the nod for VP, because she was another word-salad type and the bulk of these fucks couldn't see the problem with that, but Romney gave me some hope it was a ways off.
