I'm going to start calling it "Detroit" and confusing my husband.

I really, really liked this episode, although I am becoming even more concerned about the lack of Carlos! Cecil takes a vacation and doesn't mention anything schmoopy about spending it with his lurve?

I also loved this weather so much I immediately bought the album.

So wild ass theory: -

next episode has all the guest voices and cast from the previous 99 episodes....and Cecil didn't say vacation just "time off".....so just maybe we could get an event that involves someone taking time off of work AND necessitates a large gathering of friends/family/well wishers....like maybe say a wedding?!?

Maybe Carlos is caught in the same weird time/space continuum thing that poor Kareem is?

I wished we could have heard Kareem in this episode. Maybe they'll cast him sometime.

I think there would have been more build-up for a wedding, no? We spent a whole year waiting and waiting for Carlos to even return Cecil's affections, with regular missives on *sigh, Carlos* from Cecil. And when he was in the Desert Otherworld, we heard about him all the dang time, which built up to that awesome season finale.

I think the finale this season is going to be Kareem-related, and that next week is just an excuse to get all the voice actors back for the 100th episode, but in-world it's just strange for Cecil to not even mention Carlos in relation to taking time off. Has he ever taken time off and it NOT have been related to Carlos?

Now I'm going to see a wadded-up mitten in a side view whenever I look at a map of Maine. It's not an inapt description.
