I don't know if TNT will pick it up for a 4th season, doesn't seem like they promoted this season much at all, and I get the feeling that they wrote this as a series-finale just in case it is the end. Overall, not a great season - DOSA and Apep were pretty meh as villains - but I'll keep watching if there is a 4th season. (I'm still holding out hope for another Christmas episode with Santa Bruce Campbell.)

Yes, it did seem like they did a "just-in-case" finale, but I'm happy it's being renewed.

I expected it was a ruse but didn't anticipate Flynn's participation. As it turned out I enjoyed the fact that they pulled one over on the LITs (who I guess aren't really in T anymore) and Jenkins but Eve got an immediate dose of "this is how it feels to be jerked around" with Flynn and the amulet.
"Oh my god, they built their own Library!" Yeah, and they called it the Warehouse.
We do not speak of the Warehouse after that abomination of a final season.
I get the feeling that they wrote this as a series-finale just in case it is the end.
Pretty reasonable. Both seasons 1 and 2 weren't renewed till after the final episodes aired, much less by the time they were written. I appreciate them leaving each season with more room to grow but no frustrating dangling threads.
But man, I would really like them to just make the Flynn & Eve relationship thing a fact that doesn't get any more attention/discussion because I still am just not feeling it. I accept it's just part of the scenery now but every time it becomes a discussed thing it rubs my nose in how much I just do not buy them as having romantic chemistry.
