While the show has diverged from the books early on, the show is running in a loose parallel path, and there are "book-related" reveals yet to come (Penny as the ultra-powerful, handless librarian, the war with the nations to the north and south). It's been a while since I read the books, so I might be due a re-read to remember what has and hasn't been revealed or made unlikely in the show.

The show is intentionally fucking with us now. Penny sort of has his hands back, but clearly not really. And Julia looks like she is going to continue her path to demigodhood, but that she'll be led there by Martin. All in all I'm super excited.

The knight who died waiting for them was hilarious, and I loved his 90s pop culture riddles.
