Comedians Dave Anthony and Gareth Reynolds examine The Acadians.

This is one of the best episodes ever of The Dollop. The format where Dave talks about the topic and Gareth jokes around and reacts works really well here because Gareth knew almost nothing about Acadian history. The twist ending at the end was a really earned moment.

I'm a Maritimer so I'm automatically going to love this topic but they genuinely did a great job and a lot of the history of them being treated as outcasts in the 13 colonies was skipped over in my high school history class.

Oh hell yeah. I feel like The Dollop started out on kind of a bad foot on MeFi because the early plagiarism controversy made it here before anything else but they can be pretty fucking entertaining (though it still kinda bugs me that they don't bother to read off the sources at the end of the podcast).
