Movie: Music by John Williams
French documentarian Laurent Bouzereau has directed 343 movies(!), many of which are hack-jobs of the 'The Making Of' type. MUSIC BY JOHN WILLIAMS is his latest (and highest rated). From the Trailer, it looks like it might be the usual hagiographic bio-pic trash, but because of its subject matter, it isn't. (Similar to the 2021 Ennio Morricone biography,) it's a touching, inspiring and joyful trip down memory lane. A wholesome story about the wholesome man who was nominated for 54 Oscars, "One of the biggest pop stars ever". [more inside]

Lincoln is an epic historical drama film directed by Steven Spielberg, starring Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln and Sally Field as Mary Todd Lincoln. The screenplay by Tony Kushner was loosely based on Doris Kearns Goodwin's biography Team of Rivals, and covers the final four months of Lincoln's life, focusing on the President's efforts in January 1865 to have the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution passed by the United States House of Representatives.
