Arrow: All for Nothing

Well... I'm going to go ahead and guess Vince is still alive... Because no one ever dies and Laurel #2 is going on a redemption arc.

Did Rhade (Steve Bacic) play Sonos in the previous episodes? I didn't recognize him if he did... Watching the Arrowverse is like watching Andromeda, Fringe and a dozen other Sci-fi shows, every Vancouver based actor gets their turn to play a villain.

welp, that was dark. but i gotta think Dinah should've taking a little more responsibility with that bomb. Oliver called it that they needed the man power, and i would've trusted his experience. also, how was it not obvious that Vince's coms were turned on by Cayden?

There are a number of things I just don't understand about this current episode:

1. Why does Argus not realize that the bad guy who controls every computer and satellite and electronic device might be able to get control over their coms?

2. Why does team Arrow still think that even with Felicity's mad hacking skillz that their cell phones and communication devices and coms and computer networks will be secure from said all powerful technological bad guy?

3. If Dinah was still able to talk and cry out to Vince why couldn't she use her canary cry to blast the debris off of her and escape?

4. What ever prompted Dinah to wear a double-breasted corduroy blazer over a black leather jacket? Seriously, when did this become an acceptable fashion option?

This one actually has an answer! When she was pinned down by the metal beam she was unable to move her head. If she used her canary cry she would have collapsed the ceiling.
But there was probably a dozen other times she could have used it. When she fights I imagine her SPECIAL bar filling up with every punch, and only when it's full can she use her special attack.

Okay, I'll buy that. That's a better explanation than the show has every offered or ever will offer. One point for FallowKing.

Oh, Argus. Better management decisions, guys.

That shot of Laurel turning Vigilante's brain into jelly was awfully intense for prime time TV. I guess they get away with it because it doesn't look like normal violence, it's magic violence. But.. yikes, I prefer my Arrow a bit more silly fight choreography and less close up torture murder.

Michael Emerson is such a great actor, I feel like he's wasted on this season. I wish they'd do a flipped episode where 80% of the time is spent in his villain lair with the soap opera drama of him and his crew, and only 20% of the time with Arrow in the not-Batcave.

I certainly hope there is a payoff to Quentin Lance hoping against hope that fake Laurel will see him as a father. Paul Blackthorne was a lot of fun as the hard-bitten detective in the first couple of seasons but dropping that to have him suffer over Sara, Laurel and not-Laurel the last four seasons is a bit much.

haha how quickly we forget the first 2 seasons

you know she can only use it as much as the budget allows! you're going to anger the accountants!

I'd like to think that Felicity and Cayden are on the same level. But that means it's a race for first. Whoever can get into a thing can block the other one out. And it comes down to sneaking code into places, like Cayden did. But since this is Felicity's system, she can block him out.

I don't so much care about Vincent. Oh well. Mildly interesting how they kept claiming his death WASN'T all for nothing as the title said. I feel sorry for Dinah because I mildly like her, but I won't notice Vincent is gone.

Oh, Quentin.

So Oliver's getting framed for one murder he didn't do for a change?
