goddamn this show doesn't pull punches, especially in finales and premieres. I can't believe Shaw is already killed off. I feel so bad for Raven! The girl can't have anybody she loves survive. I don't know how I would ever get attached to anybody again.

Murphy seems to be an asshole every other episode and while it's wildly entertaining, I feel like his character development is kind of stunted. He's come a long way since being a hated character in season 1, but now I want him to just grow a little bit more. But then we wouldn't have anybody to stir up the plot when it relaxes occasionally, right?

I was holding my breath for Kane, but I knew they wouldn't kill him off. Not with that "and Henry Ian Cusick" in the credits.

I can't wait for this whole season, ugh this is such a hard show to watch weekly!

Oh so the reason Shaw had to permanently exit the show so abruptly is... you guessed it, Jordan Bolger took another role as a series regular for an Oprah Winfrey produced show called David Makes Man.

Yeah I figured something was going on to kill him THAT early. But still, brutal. I'm pretty excited for this season. The fun bits of The 100 were when we were learning new stuff about the changed earth and different cultures. And now we get to do that again. Pretty smart move and I'm excited to see what they do with it.
