Kathryn Hahn was as great as you'd expect, but if they intend for me to empathize with the son character in the next few episodes they might have really overcommitted on how much of a piece of shit he is.

I think we're going to see more of the son and get a better sense of him beyond "Caddish big fish who has left his small pond", but we're not there yet.
