Twists and turns abound.

Rick puts together a crew and pulls off a heist... or does he?

Well, I'm not sure how I feel about their using the real Elon Musk as a VA. I mean, he's mocking his own tendencies, but maybe that's just part of his plan to regain some of the ground that he's lost in the public eye recently... oh, great, now I'm seeing infinite nested crosses everywhere.

I know how I feel about it and it's not a good feeling

In the gentlest possible way. That's when I realized that it must be actual-Musk doing the voice: there's no way that this show would be that nice to Elon Fucking Musk if he wasn't standing right there.

I love Rick and Morty and enjoyed this episode, but it seemed like a retread of “Vindicators” mixed with a retread of “M. Night Shyamaliens”—Let’s mercilessly mock a genre Dan Harmon doesn’t like but throw in a hundred self-reversing twists. But the most disappointing aspect is that, despite the bleak ending which revealed that Rick indirectly committed genocide upon an entire planet just so Morty wouldn’t leave him, it didn’t have the emotional resonance that the first two episodes of this season (and most of the best episodes of the previous season) had. At the end I was not left to ponder my own fear of not taking the safe road, or my own tendency to push away people with whom I could possibly have a connection—I was just left thinking, “oh, Dan Harmon thinks I’m an idiot for enjoying the occasional caper.”

Still, fun to watch, although the Elon boosterism reads especially lame after what the Cybertruck reveal lays out about Musk’s priorities.

Somewhat bummed that Elon and Kanye will have guest spots this season just because they're famous non-actors who've expressed interest in the show.

Not a fan of Elon but his role was fine I guess.

we should put in a concerted effort to retroactively tag previous episodes with "professorpoopybutthole" in which he appeared

Fandom/ Wikia makes it easy: season 2, episode 4 and 10; season 3, episodes 8, 9 and 10; and season 4, episode 3 (all links go to FanFare episode pages).

Elon Tusk was a pretty small note in the episode , I dunno. It is a bit odd but such is the superfan world of Rick & Morty. I thought it was a solid send up of the heist movie genre. I gotta say I laughed out loud.

Was waiting for Elon Tusk to start calling everything a pedo, when that didn't happen I realized it was a cameo with the real asshole. Smells a lot like Bette Midler on The Simpsons.
