Pam & Tommy: Destroyer of Worlds

Tommy confronts Rand in the Dodger Stadium parking lot.
Yes, I too find it hard to believe he'd do that, but Tommy torching the money made me laugh a lot. Like, Tommy's a shitbag, but he seems slightly less shitbaggy by comparison at this point to Ultimate Loser Rand, and he's stood by Pam as best as he's able to do within the limitations of his character. So it's cathartic, and I especially loved him rounding up the amount because he can't deal with Rand's stupid numbers--that felt so hilariously right for him.
The way that Pam completely 180'd on Leno with her sunny smile and that "you asked" response to the audience, playing to them, was amazing--her constant desire to placate, to be sweet and accommodating and sunny and the girl everyone loves even after she's stood up against someone--and I just feel for her so much.
Heck, if you told me a year ago that a show about Pam and Tommy would be better than a show about Boba Fett I'd have gotten mad at you.
LOL. Painfully true.
Also OMG, that outfit Tommy wears to the premiere...

I wish I knew what was real and what was fiction though. I did read the Rolling Stone article that the show is based on but even that might be embellished somewhat. I can't imagine Tommy would have torched the money like that.
Dice Clay, shitbag that he is in real life, makes a pretty decent gangster.
I feel bad for Seth Rogan's character, even though he's the asshole who started it all. I liked the scene where his ex screamed at him for stealing the video.
I'm glad they're making Pam look good in all of this. I don't know much about her beyond the tabloid stuff but I'm feeling for her.
