Hanging with the Bone Reavers!
Apparently they're not as scary as you think, and throw a mean party complete with a dance number and "truth plums." Also, Jade is apparently one of them and sister to Scorpia, their leader, who seems to kinda come on to everyone, including her own sister...oy.
Graydon continues to try to figure out how to woo Elora, which is kind of buzzkilled by his possession-at-times issue. (Also, yes, Elora's got some red hair underneath now.)
There's also brownies!
AV Club review. " It’s maybe not the best idea to take food offered by someone who had you tied up mere minutes ago, but it furthers the plot, so that’s what they do. These magical delicacies turn out to be “truth plums.” Frankly, they could have been a lot worse.

My only light complaint is how the bone reavers went from serious badasses, blah blah blah to a buncha ravers who had no other response to trolls than running around like headless chickens. Did I miss a "oh nah we get by on bluffs, mostly" to tie it in to Willows story, maybe?
Well, not my only complaint, but that one stuck in my head.

(I mean, even if it's "well, we all took the mollie plums" I mean c'mon _serious badasses_ you didn't even leave anyone sober to handle any potential threats in Threat Forest? Hrmph. Harumph.)

This is the episode that made me decide to just lean into it. The music choices. The dialog. Everything. Yeah yeah, it's not a serious, high-faulting fantasy and Professor Tolkien would surely disapprove and yadda yadda yadda. It's fun. I like it.

Yes, this is a teen comedy in a fantasy world and there's nothing we can do about it. I......... am not sure how I feel about it. Oh well, I can either embrace the stick or the powers of my mind. Thank you, Elora Riverana
