All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite: Dynamite 11/8/23 and Rampage 11/10/23

Dynamite from Portland needs to asks two big questions when we're two Saturdays from now at Full Gear: Who else is coming for MJF's title? And is anyone else going to steal the show on the way there?

The announced card for Dynamite:

AEW World Championship Match: MJF (c) vs. Daniel Garcia

Jay White vs. Mark Briscoe
White is facing Mark Briscoe, recently returned from injury. Meanwhile, MJF has his belt up for grabs against Daniel Garcia, currently struggling with the whole pro wrestler/sports entertainer thing again.
Ring Of Honor TV Championship Match: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Keith Lee
Even though Joe does not have a title defense scheduled at Full Gear, there’s still time for that. Or maybe Lee actually wins this and becomes a mainstay on ROH for a bit.
Face-to-face interview with Hikaru Shida and Toni Storm
Will Toni Storm appear only in black and white during her segment?
Swerve Strickland vs. Penta El Zero Miedo

Red Velvet vs. Julia Hart

Sting & Darby Allin vs. The Outrunners
I haven't really mentioned in FanFare how much the Outrunners -- Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum -- spark joy in my inner child's heart. I would have rooted for these guys even if I saw them on Superstars of Wrestling in 1987.

The outcome of MJF v Garcia was probably not in doubt, and while Garcia is not yet the professional wrestler he's going to be. MJF seems to agree, and exhorted Garcia to part ways with Minard and Parker as soon as possible.

Penta vs. Swerve got extremely violent, not safe for anyone with fingers and hands. I would have to go back and watch old "tapes", but I'm pretty sure there were shout-outs to their old episodes of Lucha Underground.

And then Hangman comes out and makes it extra brutal, swinging a chair around and giving Swerve the Deadeye off the ramp through a table. Shouldn't have given his kid a lecture, Swerve!

Red Velvet making a great showing in her return, getting a bunch of impressive moves in, but losing to a picture-perfect moonsault from Julia Hart. Willow, Kris Statlander and Skye Blue come out to show the multiple corners of this particular storyline.

Elsewhere in the women's division: MARIAH MAY IS ALL ELITE. The Stardom alumna was rumored to be on her way here. Observations:

A) Tony Khan has a type, and that type is blond Caucasian with a non-American accent.
B) Early to tell, but Mariah seems to be working a Mickie-James-esque stalker gimmick aimed at Toni Storm?

Mark Briscoe puts up a good fight, busting out all his hits except for the J-Driller, which Jay White keeps dodging. But White gets him with the Switchblade, which is a very well-protected move.

As the BBG celebrates, MJF makes an unsuccessful attempt to recover his title belt, and then the cameras catch the Devil and his minions throwing The Acclaimed around (including through the window of hilariously fake office. Since it seemed to happen live, that puts paid to my notion that "the Devil" was MJF's Tyler Durden.

I binged a bunch of episodes last week so I’m not exactly sure but has the devil shown up in every episode that Danhausen was promised but hasn’t returned?
