Sure enough, Mox and Dax start the show by pushing each other into corners and exchanging taunting face kisses. I AM NOT MAKING THAT UP.

Also, it was announced that the entire Blackpool Combat Club -- greasy Weasel Yuta included -- are traveling down to Mexico for a 4 vs. 4 CMLL match against Místico, Volador Jr., Blue Panther and Último Guerrero on March 29, returning the favor of CMLL's talent having made the trip to AEW.

Don Callis out there saying that since Konosuke Takeshita is such an unapproachable talent, but still has no match for Revolution, he has to arrange his own match against fellow Callis Family member Will Ospreay for what he claims will be the match of the show. Thing is... he probably ain't wrong.

OK, I take it back, the hottest relationship on this episode is Christian Cage making out with his own TNT Championship title after he and the rest of "The Patriarchy" (including Shayna Wayne) interfere and cause a DQ in the Copeland/Garcia match. Until that point it was a strategic match, with Copeland wanting to wreck Garcia's arm while Garcia disassembles Copeland's left leg.

You can go a lot of places from here, but it would be a bit redundant to book a second triple-threat match for a title at Revolution. Maybe there's a trios grudge match? Maybe Daddy Magic can be included after weeks of being Garcia's hypeman? Or maybe as punishment for Shayna giving Copeland a knock between the legs, Beth Phoenix comes out of retirement to glam-slam Shayna and Nick Wayne.

Toni Storm actually got real, actual tattoo work done on herself just to advance her storyline? In a tattoo parlor filled with weird voodoo crap? What a legend.

Top Flight put on a good match against "Matthew and Nicholas", with a great rope-assisted Spanish Fly and a lot of side-by-side action, but the EVPs get in a low-blow -- second one tonight! -- to become #1 contenders. Darby comes out with a baseball bat and calls them on their self-serving bullshit, and makes the match official for Revolution.

Matt Taven took quick control of the death match, dragging Cassidy around the arena and making a great meal out of the (first) table spot. Cassidy bladed the forehead -- we haven't had Blood Orange in a while -- and Taven followed soon after by throwing himself headfirst into another table. My expectations for this were mixed going in but it was definitely worthy of being main event.
