Oh, I'd looked this up. The original Wild Wild West music video has ... relevant dancing. I hadn't watched that in aaages; I've heard Neil Cicierega's chopped-up take on it, Wow Wow, much more often recently. ("You don't wanna see my *bees.*")

I do love this show, and I understand they need to do this to get the plot to move, but I would fire a teacher who so consistently left a room full of students alone. It makes me crazy in the same way I am sure lawyers are made crazy watching lawyer shows, and doctors watching hospital shows, etc.

I was interested in seeing Janine's ex and present dancing next to each other and was pretty impressed with Gregory holding his own, especially since he had just learned about it.

This show continually reminds me of Parks and Rec, I kept thinking of Flu Season. Except then it reminded me of pandemic.
"I thought your people don't snitch." "Then why are all of my uncles in jail?"
"I wish you wouldn't do that while I teach." "I wish you wouldn't teach while I play."
I do not remember anyone having ringworm as a kid or even knowing that existed.

Barbara's line of "that's not God's plan for me!" was hilarious and I truly hope that some day I have the opportunity to get out of a bad situation that way!
But then we got to see what she thought the plan really was: revenge on her awful choir!
The best!

I didn't get ringworm, but I did get tapeworm. From the seafood restaurant next to the gas station. Got it. Passed it. Worth it.

Now that this show has gotten past the will-they-or-won't-they stage, it's leveled up. This season is so good! Really well written and well performed, and funnier than ever!
