Trial book?

In a recent conversation here on fanfare talk, PB said there is openness to experimenting with some different uses of fanfare, including some books. Looks like the Hannibal Rising book discussion was successful, with a lot of in-depth discussion. So....
In the spirit of "more book-related experiments", I wonder if I could propose trying a specific book, as an experiment, for discussion here on fanfare: the latest (and last?) Terry Pratchett, The Shepherd's Crown.
It could make a good test case for books because:
a) many mefites already love Pratchett and are likely to read this book and participate in discussion of the book (as evidenced by epicly long threads about Pratchett and frequent recommendations on askme.
b) it's fresh, new, out right now.
I'd propose we "schedule" the read, as we schedule upcoming films in fanfare clubs, so folks have time to read the book. Then, in a month(?) someone can post about the book, and see how that goes as a discussion.
What do you think?
(I recognize that fanfare books is an apparent hobby horse of mine, so if this doesn't seem like a good idea to mods, or if there's not a wide interest in this, I am willing to stop being "that book guy")

I guess this is an idea who's time has not come!
I'm interested but I was going to wait for a mod to jump in with a yay or nay first.
I've actually been thinking about proposing a similar thing, but with Neal Stephenson's Seveneves, because if I remember correctly, in two of the previous 'fanfare for books' threads, multiple people stated they needed people to talk to about Seveneves.

Thank you for the update! And I am fine with reading Seveneves instead if more people are into that...

I hope something comes of this eventually. I would move either suggestion up my in my TBR pile to follow the discussion.

Yeah, to follow up: we're actively getting some of the last bits of plumbing in place for some manner of at-long-last test rollout for Books. pb's been trying to nail down the last bits of the basic infrastructure and is pretty close now, and I'm gonna check in with a couple users I've talked to previously about some book/club ideas previously.
With a little luck we'll announce something in MetaTalk later this week, maybe early next week if there's unexpected hitches.
