Welcome to the 311th episode of My Brother, My Brother and Me! We're going to celebrate this special occasion by talking about our favorite Reggae-Nu Metal fusion band, and also by chatting with LEGENDARY AUTHOR AND MASTER OF THE QUILL Patrick Rothfuss about dad stuff! It's quite a mish-mash of conversation topics. Suggested talking points: 311, Sneaky Pics, Human Pets, McElroy Monikers, Baby Holding, Shitty Gandalf, Pee-Wee LARPing, Childhood Horror

I had no clue what they were talking about with 311 - I was convinced I had never heard it - so I looked it up and two minutes in was like OH MAN THAT SONG. It dragged me right back to being 14 and hanging out with kids who thought they were stoners (spoiler: they weren't) at summer camp.

Patrick Rothfuss's parenting stories were pretty great, and he was a great guestpert, despite not answering more than three questions.

My special favorites were Griffin taking a screen shot on his phone in a bathroom stall and hearing the shutter sound. And then, Travis saying, "So what you're saying is that there's no wrong way to hold a baby."

I liked Justin's momentary explosion of annoyance when he pointed out that at any point in the past two years his brothers could have asked him how to pick up a baby.

Yeah , I was sort of astonished that they appeared to be saying that they'd never held Charlie.
