My Brother, My Brother And Me: MBMBaM 380: Nuthead
November 13, 2017 3:49 PM - Subscribe

So, Justin met Jimmy Buffett. And yet, somehow, that is not the thing we end up spending the most time talking about this episode. No, instead, we create a horror movie franchise that's going to really push our brand into the NEXT LEVEL. Suggested talking points: Justin's Very Good Day, The Next Level, Celebrity Heaven, Infinite Pizza Engine, Claiming Planets, A New and Profitable Horror Franchise

A. This episode was sooooo good and made me laugh a LOT
B. Griffin actually did figure out infinite free-za, yes?
C. Nuthead, that goes down, a-real smooth.
D. Ok so during the part where they were talking about Nuthead's silent dream it sounded so much like a description of an episode of Adventure Time. It's nuts that I'm pretty sure none of them watch that show, it's so up their alley.

Earlier I was at the grocery store and I picked up some seven layer dip but the funny thing was when I picked it up and read the label "7 layer bean dip" I absolutely said in my head "Don't mind if I DO"

I thought so in the moment, but no, you'll decrease by a factor of twelve every cycle, and that's assuming they'll stamp your card give you a coupon when you use 12 coupons, which hasn't been the case in my experience.

But let's say they are that generous, buy the 144 pizzas for 144 coupons. Those coupons will get you twelve pizzas. Those will get you one, and then you're back to scrambling for more coupons. He figured out 157 pizzas for the price of 144.

This was an extremely good episode.

Also I submitted this photo to the MBMBAM FB page with a post that said I was "excited to drive by Griffin's!" house but it didn't make it past the mods. Censorship, man.

In an old episode I listened to yesterday Griffin said he couldn't do something on a Thursday because it interfered with Adventure Time. So I'm pretty sure at least our 30 Under 30 Media Luminary does watch.

How did I not catch that? I've listened to all the old ones like twice each at this point I think.

Oh and also I'm pretty sure they did the breathing in space question earlier this summer. Gotta go back and see what they said about it.

If you buy an infinite amount of pizza then you get infinite coupons and an infinite amount of free pizza.

So the Lin-Manuel Miranda/Jimmy Buffett crossover probably isn't going to happen, but there's this...

My pizza also came with a coupon for a free room at an infinitely large hotel, the only problem is it's fully booked this weekend.

Here's hoping the Brothers and Clint appear in the background of a scene.

Griffin's bathroom issues are forever funny to me, especially when he was the extreme couponer trying to defeat the 50 cans of peas right after arguing that he couldn't stop himself from eating chili.

Speaking of Griffin bathroom issues... I'm convinced he has accidentally conditioned himself to need to pee during live shows. I'm going to the Milwaukee show and will see if it fits the pattern.

I was pleased to hear the return of Griffin's "nobody's quite sure" sentence construction (I think about Kate Beckinsale/Griffin's Beckinsworth), which he hasn't used much since the end of CoolGames Inc.

This was a very good episode. (I embarrassed myself by how much I laughed during the "Crampies! Crampies! Shit! Shit!" extreme couponer peas/toilet paper section.)

Hope you enjoy the show, drezdn! Report back on your pee findings, please.

There was a long intermission before the audience questions segment, so I have no additional data. :(

The Friday night show in Chicago had no intermission. Griffin did not leave to pee during our show.

All this anecdata about pee is fascinating.
