Jessica hires a New York City private detective, Archie Miles, to investigate a 25 year-old murder she hopes to use as the basis of a book. But not long after having JB speaks to Miles for an update on the case, he is shot and killed in his office. Jessica is determined to find Archie's killer, as is his partner in the detective agency, Harry McGraw (Jerry Orbach). Can Jessica and Harry find Archie's killer?
