I really hope that there is a way to watch all of the episodes uninterrupted once it's completed, because 10 minutes at a time really isn't working well for me.

The mention of resurrection and then the weird healing staff makes me wonder at what stage the Goa'uld technology is right now... because it sounds like the 'resurrection' is rare but the (villagers?) make the healing seem pretty normal. I don't remember regular people having access to that kind of technology while under Goa'uld rule.

How did they know Catherine et'al were "earthlings" and not just humans from another planet?

I have a feeling everyone's going to be mind wiped at the end of this. Ra's going to be the only one (on any side) who remembers any of these events, and when he sees the necklace in the Stargate movie he realizes the connection to Cathrine which is why he becomes curious about Daniel. Or maybe I'm trying too hard to make it fit.

Even Jaffa weren't given that kind of tech during most of SG-1, and the only humans who could use that sort of thing were former Goa'uld hosts, due to the lingering presence of naquadah in their bodies. (See: Carter and Vala being able to use ribbon devices later, but nobody else doing it even though Stargate Command generally made extensive use of stolen and/or retrofit Goa'uld tech.)

How did they know Catherine et'al were "earthlings" and not just humans from another planet?

I guess from the Nazis?

Still pretty on the fence with this.

I'm well past the fence and deep into "hey look, it's Stargate for High School Stage Productions" territory.

Ugh. Not good.

That's fair.

*sigh*

I mean, the best I can say for it is that at least it's short? But yeah, we're at the halfway point here - how much more story do you suppose they're going to be able to tell and wrap up in the next ~50 minutes of content?
