The holidays have descended upon Kepler, West Virginia. While the town prepares for its annual festivities, the Pine Guard prepares for the coming Abomination. Ned gets under the hood. Aubrey does some risky sleight of hand. Duck gets two fateful phone calls. (Thanks to Evan Palmer [@evantickles] for our new cover art!)

This was a good episode! There were two spots that had be laughing out loud and I'm interested in this wintery new monster that I suspect is some kind of Krampus or Wendigo.

Well we all know for sure that it's not a krampus

I hope it's not/is the Podcast Krampus.

I really liked Justin's attempt to make the whole Balance arc actually be the LARPing Adventures of Deputy Dewy and Friends and Griffin's frantic undoing of that.

I also thought, kind of related to Justin's insistence that all of their intellectual property is part of the same planarverse, how they went with traditional holidays instead of Candlenights. I think it was a good choice though cause it kind of veers away from being "too cute".

I didn't see it as Justin's insistence so much as Justin's mocking other fans' insistence that everything be connected

Has Griffin been having voice-acting lessons? His opening narration and other VO stuff was noticeably better than it usually is, I thought. Less self-consciously "actorly", if you know what I mean?

TMBWBITT; believe it.

I loved Griffin giving Ned extra points in his attempt to autopsy the van and then 15 minutes later Ned is like "This whole knowing-about-cars thing is mostly a sham..."
