Not one of the better live shows, it sounded a little like Griffin was trying for a looser, less-plotted adventure and it backfired on him by being too easy and not giving the boys enough to dig into.

Aw, I thought it was fun. I'm amused that even after all this time they're still introducing new competent women for fans to latch onto.

I enjoyed them being so ridiculously overpowered for the battle that Taako literally jumped the kraken.

Griffin really should have taken away the Flaming Etc. Sword of Doom at the end of the Balance arc. But I really liked the competing water-manipulation spells!

Oh yeah. I totally had fun. If I were to order all the live episodes from “most fun” to “most not fun”, they would all be crowded near the “most fun” end of the chart. It’s just that this one would probably be a little farther away from the “most fun” mark than the others.

Honestly I thought the sword did get taken away at the end of Balance but it seems they're just ignoring that. Not that I mind.

I like the idea that the Kraken is now a buddy, like how Klarg is a buddy. I like the idea of the Kraken just hanging out, being chill, and coming out to hang out with Taako when called upon.

I also like the idea of Taako, Klarg, and the Kraken all having a tea party together, but that's maybe a step too far.

(and also 蛸 means "octopus" and is pronounced "tako" in Japanese)

I knew that from CBeebies tv show sarah and duck! Because John (of John and Flamingo) is japanese and has a pet octopus called tako!
