This show is starting to head into Walking Dead territory for me. At this point almost every character is morally compromised in some way, or has been broken emotionally. It's exhausting. Gimme some hope, show. Blink and Vampire Bill seem like the only ones left to root for.

I think I'm just not particularly emotionally invested in the season (series?) because I fully expect Fox to cancel it on a cliffhanger at some point. I mostly like learning - from the recaps & comments here - all the bits of X-Men comics lore that I never knew about what with only knowing them from the movies & tv.

It's funny. Whenever I sit down to watch this show, I'm usually entertained, at least on some level, but actually getting around to watching it is a bit of a chore. It's always last on my list of shows I need to catch up on that week. As it is, I'm still one episode behind, so I can't comment on this episode yet. Maybe I'll get to it this weekend.

i felt like it was too cheap to not show us the bad mutants taking out the underground, like maybe if the crew actually saw Evangeline getting killed would make their reactions feel more earned. All we've seen of her is one meeting and a couple of phone calls and some flashbacks about how she recruited and gave John and Lorna purpose (was there even a flashback for John with her?).

nevertheless I guess moving forward we'll just have the main cast going against the Inner Circle. This is kind of a good way for them not to add extra characters from the Underground other than the ones we've seen.

Ugh, the episode 13 recording got canceled from my Tivo's to-do list somehow, I'll have to wait for it to show up in my 'On Demand' to watch it, so if anyone else wants to post the thread first, please go ahead.
