Oh, one more thing! Now that The Good Place has wrapped up its season, the official TGP podcast has put up the first installment of a B99 two-parter: Marc Evan Jackson (Shawn on TGP/Kevin on B99) interviews Melissa Fumero, along with executive producers Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici, talking in general about the show and its history, along with the story of how they got picked up by NBC for Season 6. It's short but very informative.

No wait, one more one more thing! I'm happy that Dirk Blocker and Joel McKinnon Miller finally get to be in the opening credits, even if it means that we no longer get to see Chelsea Peretti doing the Gina dance.

Also, I would gladly watch a Craig Robinson/Nicole Byer Judy Siblings spinoff.

This one definitely felt like "The First Post-Gina Episode" without actually mentioning her (that I recall), especially if it turns out to be the first step in getting Doug Judy to fill that role.

Ok I'm just starting this and i did also was surprised at the new opening credits. One thing that I went back and checked on is that it looks like the now-six slow walk bit at the end is the same footage when it was seven with Chelsea Peretti as Gina between Holt and Charles. It looks like they digitally removed her and put Boyle next to Holt. I assume it's the same because even the way the hair for Rosa and Amy are draped are the same. The difference though is that it looks like the walk is actually earlier in the footage, you can tell by where's Rosa's right foot is in relation to the crime scene tag number behind her. But it was a really good edit, you can't even tell the pixels!

That was great! I love Trudy Judy! Also, now we know what nine-drink Amy is, but we still don't know seven-drink Amy.

There should be a sixteen-drink Amy who can bend steel bars and climb up walls with her bare hands a la James McAvoy in Split/Glass.

The bar storyline didn't do much for me but I love the Judys! I think it would have been annoying if it was just Doug Judy getting away AGAIN even if he is amazing every time. Nice twist.

I liked the call back to N-Drink Amy... that was first introduced in the episode where Peralta invites the captain to a detective's weekend at boyle's beach house (that he only has in winter months), season 2e12 "The Beach House" (I've been rewatching old episodes lately).

Hooray, more Doug Judy!

He didn't get to sing to Rosa, but we did get a peek into his family. The Judy siblings are the best.

YAY so happy (relieved) for a straight-up hilarious episode. And I love Nicole Byer, so I'm excited to see that she has an in with the extended Schurr universe!

(whispers)
Even crappy dive bars have price differentiation so it seems like they could've gotten a bottle of aged Irish whiskey and ended up okay, but I get it. If the Eagles took the Fellowship to Mordor there would be no story, whatever, I won't complain.

One thing I learned in the AV Club review of this episode is that there are people who do not like Doug Judy episodes. Are they seeing the same show?

I just assumed that the bar had exactly two high-end bottles, each side grabbed one early on, and then it was a race to the bottom of the kegs.

I was delighted this happened because I literally have closed my eyes to avoid seeing Chelsea Peretti during the opening credits. (We don't have to all like the same things.)
