I'm happy to see this back, and from the TV Line interview, it sounds like there's a lot lined up for this season. But with a two-episode season premiere, there are only 8 episodes left.

I'm near the end of S2E1. I think it's a decent upgrade over Season 1 so far. The narrative interleaving is structured better, the music is better, the dialogue is better, the psychological interaction is better. I wasn't going to bother, but I'm glad I did.

I had the opposite reaction. I found this one a step down from the end of last season. The disjointed narrative structure doesn't bother me, and it's nice to see the kids have a better handle on their powers, but the plot about going after missing girls seemed kind of forced and it felt like it came from nowhere.

Never mind, I just realized I missed watching episode one and jumped straight into episode two. Well that explains a few things.
