And.....yet another episode with no Adam!

I felt badly for Abe. I wish Henry had invited him to join the squad for drinks. That would have been a nice reversal. Instead of Henry meeting the ex-wife, Abe gets to meet the co-workers.

Honestly, the longer this goes on, the more I think Abe really got the fuzzy end of the lollipop with this deal and Henry may have been right about it being unfair of him to adopt a child.

I was glad to see that media portrayals of BDSM have reached 1981. At the rate we're going they may actually discover consent before the Singularity, but it will probably fall to Prime Intellect to explain RACK to them.

I had such low expectations for this series when it started, and now somehow it has become my favorite new show of this season. And according to the futon critic, ABC has ordered a full season, yay!

I thought the killer was going to be the not-actually-dead-from-suicide-after-all former client, but, same difference. And while it wasn't the most well-informed BDSM portrayal, I've definitely seen worse from procedurals. The killer's motive was just the eternal standard of obsession/jealousy, at least; I didn't get the sense that they were pointing a finger at his kink being to blame for it.
