I saw the first two episodes last night and it was really poignant.

My only criticism is that I admittedly have Odenkirk's voice typecast as a brazen and sleazy guy.

(For those wondering, it's on Amazon Prime legally; not sure if that is exclusive to USA subscribers).

Watched this last weekend and loved it. It was beautiful and amazing. The rotoscope is magical and captivating.

I just watched the first two episodes last night. I thought the roto would bug me, but it was great.

I was liking the family/personal drama so much I kind of didn't want them to get to the sci-fi part!

But now I have to stop watching until I can watch it with my partner because I think she'll like it, and if it isn't available in Europe it's going to be a while.

I've watched the first three episodes; I cried a lot during the first two and then the third one was more...recognizable? The trope of 'physics / cognitive science researcher discovers alternate dimensions and then Bad People are after them!' was familiar from The Subtle Knife.

I binged the whole thing. It was great.

This is much more subtle than some viewers might recognize, at least as they first watch it. Undone is from the creative team of Raphael Bob-Waksberg and Kate Purdy, who write BoJack Horseman, and I think this is most comparable to the extraordinary episode, Time's Arrow, providing insight into BoJack's mother, Beatrice, and her life history and experience of dementia.

Kate Purdy has experienced mental illness herself and I feel the series is very aware and sensitive to the difficulties of the topic. I have an intense dislike of the "It's the medication that's wrong, you're special!" trope and while I was worried early on, by the end of the series I felt good about how this was handled.

Happy to advise that it's available in the UK, which usually means it's Europe-wide!

I binged a few nights ago and fell completely under its spell.

I'm not sure how I feel about the animation technique. I've seen rotoscoping used well, and I just don't see how it adds to the material in this case.

Yeah I wasn't thrilled by that either.

Mod note: A couple deleted. Folks who want to discuss the full season / last episode can go ahead and make a full season post for that. This one is only for episode 1, season 1 — no spoilers for or discussion of other episodes. (Also, everyone, please flag them when you see spoilers!)
