The Outsider: Foxhead Show Only

Sensing something ominous afoot, Claude reconnects with his brother, Seale, in Tennessee, while Holly, Ralph, Yunis, and Andy follow him in hopes of isolating the evil force and thwarting its next kill.
A lot of times, when a show or movie finally reveals its monster, a lot of the tension can deflate because the effects—no matter how good—can rarely compete with the imagination.
Last night’s episode did not have that issue.
(This show is so good. I really hope it sticks the landing.)

This episode felt very stretched out to me. These characters are not good enough to have so many character moments, it just feels fake and time-wasting to e.g. have this new brother character we're supposed to care about get very stupidly thrown into a cell.
Also, the show is awfully casual with the characters actually showing any kind of vigilance about maintaining Paddy Considine's alibi. Which is obnoxious if it matters and obnoxious if it doesn't.

Another good episode. I was bothered that the plan was to wait for El Cuco to kill again, as opposed to actively trying to stop it beforehand.
Did El Cuco cut gramps?

On the other hand, it was awesome seeing Holly's men finally becoming the Scooby Gang they were always meant to be. Took you long enough, Ralph.
Believe it or not, I had somehow been unfamiliar with Cynthia Erivo before this show, but seeing as how she has been an absolute delight as Holly, I will be watching everything she's ever been in and will be in from here on out.
