The Outsider: In the Pines, In the Pines Show Only
February 17, 2020 6:42 AM - Season 1, Episode 7 - Subscribe
Holly makes a calculated attempt to help a volatile but conflicted Jack, while their whereabouts are tracked by Ralph and Alec. After she's confronted by town gossip on her first day back at work, Glory considers Howie's suggestion on how to secure her family's financial future.
This show is sooooo agonizingly creepy. It really scratches that itch that I donβt even realize I have most of the time. I generally hate horror except for King.

This was a good episode. Holly's fear was palpable, yet I also felt sorry for Jack, particularly when 'the entity' stopped him from committing suicide by dragging the gun out of his mouth.
I found things back in town a little slower, and I'm interested to see how or if Jack and Claude will interact or if they can be stopped in time. As I understand it, the timescale between the child murders is around 25 days, and we were told this week that it's been three weeks since Terry died, so we must be close to the time when more murders are due.

I liked "If I wanted to be a voodoo doctor, I would've gone to voodoo medical school," but I wanted him to follow up with something like "but the entrance exams were too hard," or "but the tuition was too high."

I also really enjoyed the line, "If I wanted to be a voodoo doctor, I would've gone to voodoo medical school".
