That was, like, most of the action of this entire show’s history.

Yes but how do you beat Wario?

i feel the subtitles should have reflected the correct spelling which is "fluffy boi" :)

I would have expected Holt to ask for help off-hours and to maybe decline to beat up someone already in custody.

I realize I genuinely dislike this show and Peralta or The Peralta Show. It gives off the same vibe as South Park (ha, ha, we're actually laughing at you and revealing our true selves in deniable sketches).

Watching the beginning (Hitchcock and Scully alone wondering why they're the only ones with enough work ethic to be in the building, interrupted by Peralta in a full hazmat suit) was so surreal. Of course my first thought was "Wait -- they're making a coronavirus episode -- but how/why did they actually gather together to do it?" And all that right on the heels of the episode that opens with a conversation about the NBA combined with a precinct filled with Easter bunnies.

The highlight for me: Peralta's range from worst-possible impression of Kevin to a highly passable one whose subtle levels of excitement about warblers could only be detected by the other two.

I'm 95% sure the laptop was a Mac Air and thus couldn't really knock someone in the head very hard.

Neither Holt nor Kevin would ever pronounce a nonstandard spelling!

Holt had to team up with Jake because if he teamed up with Rosa, they'd have gone all John Wicks at the halfway point.

so weird to realize that Kevin and Holt might be my favorite couple on TV right now

It was truly impressive.

I love Teddy in this episode. The thing about the way he was written here is that a lot of times, people being excited about obscure (or seemingly boring topics) are some of my favorite conversations. We all read the news and I do NOT want to talk about it! But if you know a weird aspect of the design of highway interchanges I will probably be fascinated. Once I was talking to a friend of a friend about his job as a nutritionist for zoo animals. He was getting into some specifics about mixing bird food and suddenly stopped himself, thinking he was dominating the conversation too much, to ask what I did for a living. I told him I had a boring office job that is not nearly as interesting as him mixing bird food. "Oh! ok." and he launched back into his topic. That was 6 years ago and I still think about it.

I would 100% love to hang out with Teddy right now.

I, too, would like to know more about mixing bird food for zoo animals.

Well yeah but what does Teddy know about mailboxes?

When did Holt beat up somebody already in custody ?

Yeah. ACAB, obviously, but the perp in that fight scene was definitely not already in custody when Holt beat the crap out of him.
